In 1997, I started Scenes for High School Drama Students as a web resource for my fellow drama students/performance lovers.  Between 1997 and 2003, the website grew in popularity, hosting a multitude of monologues, scenes and one act plays.  The first monologue, It's A Doll's Life, was developed in my grade 11 dramatic arts classroom.  Now, 19 years later, I find myself teaching secondary school theatre and still looking for quality, appropriate scripts for exercises and performances. 

Clicking through these pages, you will discover scripts from the original Scenes for High School Drama Students website, new writings, and scripts that I have gathered through my travels.   As with the original site, the intention is still the same: use the scripts, use theatre and performance to tell stories that matter to your artists and audiences, and let me know how it goes if you use something for public performance.
